Bonjour Mademoiselle / Madame / Monsieur,

After a long day absorbing the arts of Paris, you are undoubtedly looking for quiet, restful enjoyment. You will find it in the tranquil, bucolic setting of the Beaumarchais (Boh-mar-chay) Manor in the region of Brie. The Beaumarchais Manor, which sits on 500 acres of forest and farm land, was built by the well-known Parisian jeweler, Louis Boucheron, in the 1920s and has been in the family ever since. This extensive, gracious mansion of 16th century Anglo-Norman style architecture is listed with the Registry of Historical Monuments of France.

The manor is a short, easily accessible 30-minute drive from Paris and is also accessible by train. The train stops 4.5 miles (7 km) from the manor. If you are traveling with children, they will be delighted to know that Disneyland Paris is only a short 15-minute drive from this idyllic setting.  One of the largest shopping malls in Europe as well as outlet stores, which are very nearby, can add to the enjoyment of your stay. Sport activities such as biking, canoeing, hunting, tennis, and golf are also available nearby. Come and discover the enchanting region of Brie, well known for its castles, abbeys and ancient churches.

Nathalie and Michael Mavrinac will be your extremely gracious and knowledgeable hosts at this unique manor, which exudes warmth, charm and genuine hospitality beginning with a large dining room where a traditional continental breakfast, including homemade jams, oven-baked croissants and various types of bread, are served. An open fireplace in the main living room that is lit on chilly days adds a magical touch to this charming dwelling. The bedrooms are reached by a circular stone staircase and are individually furnished with antiques as well as modern amenities one would expect in the 21st century. Nathalie and Michael Mavrinac encourage at least a two-day stay. Enjoy your refreshing and memorable stay at Beaumarchais in an 18th century setting with 21st century conveniences. Bienvenue (Welcome).
